Let us reflect on art a little!

So much for bedrooms for now, wall paintings and other decorative arts to make our surroundings an eye candy. Let's reflect on art for the meantime. Yes, we know that art is an expression. It is a voice. And a representation of an inner thought. But to what extent this expression can go?

It is like speech. You may hit someone if that someone is hitting on you and you do not have enough patience to endure the person's attack-- be it blatant or subtle. The tendency is to fight back. And yes, we understand that. But what if your expression is to mock something that is not even hurting you? It is just that it doesn't adhere to what you believe in but it doesn't oppose too. We know why there was war in human history. Most of these were rooted from faith and religion. Isn't it enough to learn RESPECT not unless you want one view down to embrace yours which best explained the notion of conquer and conquest. All politics!

Yes, I believe. But you believe in something else. Can't we be friends? Would you respect my practices which surely will not hurt you?

There is an incident where an art exhibit tripped on the image of Christ in so many ways---yes..call them " creative ways". Okay, let us disregard sanctity, divinity, or holiness because not all even believe that these words exist. Let us respect that. But let us just put it this way. You have carved an image. And this image keeps your company. For years, you see this so alive. Call it imaginary or a sentimental value, it does not matter. This practice of yours was made known to your peers, family, friends, loved ones. Simply put, people know how important this image is for you. And because others find it strange, some group started using this image for mockery, a laughing stock. How would you feel?

And yes, it is all creativity! It is art.

Art is an expression and it becomes art in the strictest sense of the word when it is derived from imagination with your feelings and thoughts combined to it and not intended to hit someone negatively.

We cut this short.

When to embrace the mess?

Staying at home is relaxing and fun only if the house is well kept and if wherever you throw your glance in seems to look nice. However this does not apply to all who do not mind if the house is messy or not pleasing to look at. But most of the time for women, you can bet their minds are clutters as well if their place doesn't look good.

However, most moms who do not have an employed help in the house need to settle to something that she doesn't want. Maintaining the neatness of the house, by the way, requires an almost 24-hr attention. And with the kid going to school and the review and homework after class, not to mention the other tasks of working from the internet, blogging like this, and other outdoor errands, there is no other way but to take and embrace each mess in the supposed to be lovely and comfortable dwelling place.

This is tough for ladies who are OCs like me. I for one was able to manage to recover from sickness of wanting everything aligned, well-set, and tidily put in place. Having sickness like that is challenging but more difficult is getting used to mess which is really painstaking, not unless perhaps my place is a painting studio where expected are paints dripping from cans. Opsss, talk about wall paintings, hmmm....love to have a wall painting set in my humble abode. Must be from artyii....

Traditional Mom's Elegant Room

Talking about moms' room from our last post, thought of posting some good finds I saw over the net. Moms, no matter how modern she may become, it will be no doubt that she'd still be in love with very elegant traditional bedroom rich in drapes, carpets, and some flowers on the side, and a nice decorative wall painting.

Mom's Room

Expect mom's room to be the most fashionable of all. Nowadays, even couples need to have separate rooms even they seem to refuse to lose sight of each other. Admit it! even your better half is not better at all when it is all you who make sacrifices to take a messy room with all the gadget wires all over the place. And you as a neat freak gets this character attack of insanity from time to time you want the place neat.
If this is the case, create two rooms where one is all wires and messy stuff while the other one is under mom's control. And of course open her closet and all you see are her pretty nice collection, a nice wall painting from artyii.com, and well-put curtains.

Our child's Room

Kids, 'though most of the time they still stay at mom's room, they need to have a room that they call their own. Well, it is already given that our children had to start knowing what a little independence means but there is more to this reason, actually as to why mommy needs to create the kiddie room.

Don't you think it is quite nice to see a part of the house that is made to look cute? While we arrange our child's room, we just lost our thought for a minute and remembered how we were and still so little when we played in our own room surrounded with toys and a little mural on the side and a dainty pastel-c0lored wall painting on the other end. And that is exactly what we want our children's room to look like or can even be a little more than that like there are certain qualities of our child that needs to be matched by his room interior, for an instance. As for my son who loves dogs, maybe Tilen Ti's dog painting available in artyii.com will make his room so "him".

Art for a Homebody

As I am writing close to the balcony door, I can see the mini garden of the house across my apartment I just like the sight of the tall plant that sways as the wind blows.

Art that is made to be aesthetics like home interior or front lawn garden makes someone expressive if you are fond of anything that is pleasing to the eyes. They are just people that are not so appreciative of anything like this. As for me, I see art everywhere. I see how clouds artistically cover the sky. They come in different shapes. For someone like me who is homebody at the same time who is fond of beauty, the ideal home for me is a house with beautiful, relaxing balcony. I would love the house to have a good interior complete with furnishings like expensive furniture, costly wall paintings, rich drapes, and everything. Plus, the fact that I can stay at the balcony to savor the beauty of what outdoors bring which is nature, home will be perfect.

Neatness, Key to A Nice Home

We speak so much of anything about art from window covers to wall art like wall painting and other stuff that speak of anything but art.But the bottom line of beautifying a space is how neat it looks not unless it is a studio or a room of expression where there is graffiti or a place deemed topsy-turvy only because a painter lives there.

But when we are after aesthetics which we should be when we speak of residential spaces, the overall look of the house should exude neatness. Otherwise, nohttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif matter how expensive we stuff our home, it won't look good. Everything should be in proper order. There is a place for everything. Not to mention, it will be a discomfort to move around the house where every angle is a pile up of mixed anything. How about knowing where to direct yourself if you are eyeing on one thing.' say magazines?

Aside from that, a neat place makes it easy to identify which in the house needs repair or even just minor fixing.. What if the hook of your wall painting is weakening and you have not noticed at all that such valuable piece of art can soon fall and damage itself! You would not want to lose a treasure most especially if the artwork came from artyii.com which is the sole home of the best of Asian arts.
