Destiny has always been a favourite subject of those who believe in it and of those who simply are disgusted by the thought of it. Of whether the notion is just a work of art like how an artist creates his wall painting or for the believers, destiny remains a controversial subject since time immemorial.
For some faced with series of battles—fated or imposed, destiny is what we count on. We believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is not just to make us realize over something done but a fruitful life, a beautiful life that will make us fulfilled. Holding onto destiny is faith too that somehow, in this journey, we will reach our destination and for the hopeless romantic at the end of that long road is our perfect match, our match-made in heaven, our soul mate and with that person, all we feel is heaven and beauty. Destiny! In the hearts and minds of both the intelligent and the fools, is hope and is always positive. It is somehow mind-setting us to go on with our lives despite wrong judgement of people over us and despite some foul play of humanity or society to hit us.
We see artworks for sale that cover destiny as a subject and when it is the theme, the art automatically touches us. We become melancholic, nostalgic,or simply we are taken to bliss, in an instant. Anyway, as many believed destiny is a journey of the souls. And because it is in our subconscious or in our deep-seated memories, destiny is felt within. It strikes us in a moment where reason is unfathomable and discernment over the feeling is quite a challenge. Destiny speaks to the soul. It leads us to the path. This gives hope to people to keep on moving to finally know what is our destiny or who is the one meant for us, or simply what is the written purpose of our life when our life is just a book written by the Greatest Novelist.
A wall without wall painting may look bare as our life without a purpose is empty. And this makes us hold onto our destiny and that each situation leads us to a perfect story of our beautiful yet to-date our mysterious lives.
