Humble Asian Arts

Asian art cannot be underestimated in wherever angle you look at it. Just by considering wall paintings alone, one can notice that art belonging from this heavy-cultural continent is not just merely streaks of brush strokes or some squares that are piled up from one top of another. And yes, these impressive creations belong to creative artists coming from the humble part of the globe.

When others grab for concept to paint, artists from Asia just need to look back. From each of the diverse cultures, a gallery can already have a display of thousands or more of artworks coming from a fragment of cultural history of one Asian country alone. And in many parts of Asia, despite modernization, people are still attached to their tradition, history, and culture. And none of the many reasons that are available can dispute the fact that faith and religion had been the greatest contributing factor that shapes one’s culture; in which each religion as we know has its own history. Subjects to paint that revolve around faith and religion seems limitless already.  This is the reason why wall paintings of Asian art are identifiable when it comes to their origin even in the absence of information about the creators themselves.

On top of that, we can even wonder if such culture or faith and religion had blessed the people with a unique hand to paint, not to mention that what is present in all artists is an unfathomable creative mind. But what makes it noteworthy is many of them grew up in poverty. Some are even below poverty line where the rest have lived as normal as per the standard of average lifestyle of the third world which is far below from what is deemed ordinary of the more fortunate ones. We do not know what gives their hands the strength if it is daily challenges for survival that inspire them to paint or that make their hands withstand a laborious task. But whatever it is, surely their artworks are impressive—of whether they come from the Philippines, India, Indonesia or Vietnam, etc.

Generally speaking, when these artists are asked with regards to who inspire them to paint most of them have the habit of mentioning renowned artists from the west or from somewhere where financial stress is less as compared to where they belong. Just as what it has been told, these fine artists came from the humble part of the globe and rarely see that their works are far superior from that of the ones they herald.  They are not well aware of the fact that a unique talent stands out in heaven’s perfect timing even without financial background to back up.

The Best of Asian Art

Truly there are many styles of wall paintings and mostly all are similar to one another. They are brush strokes of paints to come up with different figures, shapes, and expressions. Of whether we speak of art from western countries or somewhere else, wall paintings are becoming more and more as one in style. Put the wall paintings in one collection side by side and less is the chance that one cares for its origin anymore. Not unless…..

And yes, not unless it is the Best of Asian art! No offense to other Asian works which we all know are equally great but it is irrefutable that lacquer painting or the mother or pearl- look becomes the flag bearer of Asian art which does not necessarily mean that the rest are inferior in quality or aesthetics, but it just so happened that lacquer gives a unique look that is truly Asian. Why would a buyer from the west purchase a wall art that is just like what is being sold in the nearby store when his plan is to make his room exotic? Surely, he wants a touch of Asian but he doesn’t want his room to look historical or cultural. He prefers the figure in painting to be casual like a flower in a pot but then again he wants the overall look to be Asian. In this case, flower in a vase lacquer painting is what the art buyer is looking for. Add some touches of mother of pearls around the area and what is offered to the person is the best of Asian art.

Different countries from Asia have different painting styles common to each race. Works are impressive. Their hands are magical when it comes to art. Their expertise in brush strokes along with their creative minds are brilliant but lacquer and with some use of mother of pearl exudes a unique look that stands out from the rest. It projects a certain effect that is of rarity and confined only to Asian works. And this makes the works of Vietnamese artists push the rest behind them. They have the edge, not to mention that they too got the style!

Lacquer- of whether the painting is licked-finished or created and styled in dry brush exude glossy as well as glassy in effect which makes it extremely attractive in aesthetic sense. These are the most sought when it comes to home interior designing. We see these in panels of multiple pieces. They are arranged as one to reveal the whole figure or sometimes, hung with spaces in between to create a look of multiple wall arts. And likewise, these are Asian arts which most of the time revolve around fortune like money tree, horses, and the likes.

Asian art in the Global Art Scene

Asian art can rule the art market. The artists living in this continent are determined to make their artworks known in the global scene. We are not sure though as to where they get their inspiration. Most of them live in the third world country and has developed their unusual talent in art amid poverty. Most of them live in an average lifestyle but to the more fortunate ones, theirs is still below the standard.

When checked on the works of even those who are still beginning in their career, one can tell that artistry is innate to Asians. Most of their works are not just colors splashed in different directions which once done are justified as abstract but in general the figures and subjects are well crafted, well defined. In other words, they look so real. They are vivid or if not they are creatively done. The aesthetics and expression go hand in hand in Asian art.  Many believe Asian art stands out because of the continent’s rich culture. You can tell which among the art pieces is from India, from the Philippines, or from China,  or from Vietnam and so on and so forth without knowing who their creators are. This can be done just by looking at the subject which most of the time is very cultural and religious as well.

Speaking of religion, wall paintings historically originated from expressing religious views, belief, and history. And when we speak of religion, it is rich and diverse in Asia just like how rich and diverse its culture is. Visit some Asian art websites that can be located online. Artworks for sale that are in display are enticing.  Even those who do not think of buying, just enjoy viewing the catalogue. Browsing through the artworks is also learning the diverse culture of the continent. This is exactly the advantage of internet. Internet does the art industry a big favour. Displaying different paintings from different parts of Asia was only possible before through museums. Gallery must really be big time to have launched an activity carrying artworks originating from places across the globe. This is as opposed to the present art situation which internet became a big gallery for exotic artworks worldwide. And speaking of being exotic, Asian art is!

Artistry and creativity are innate to Asians. In fact, most of them have not gone to formal education. Lack of funds prohibit them from developing their skills more through education but their passion is overflowing that makes them practice  to perfection without spending a dime. They are determined individuals to enter the global art scene amid lack of financial resources to back them up. This is why when an Asian artist levels up, he is sure to hit the limelight.

What Art are You?

Anything that we do that is an expression of us and that which produces something that is pleasing to our senses is what we call art. This is why artworks for sale come in many forms and some do not just cater to our vision but to others, as well. However, not all can relate to one art. One form stimulates the feelings of some while the other projects no effect at all.

Music is art. It enters through the ears and gets the listeners carried away. Music targets the emotion of the one who hears and when it hits the one whose current feelings and mood match the lyrics and beat of the song, the effect such art gives is an instant powerful expression of the person’s emotion. And so is a wall painting. Just by looking at it, one can internalize the contrast of colors, the subdued figures, the emotion poured by the artist to create such masterpiece and which this only happens when the feelings of the viewer relate to the artwork he is viewing. And how about cooking?

Lately we hear that cooking is an art. And because it is, it then becomes a hobby of some elite. It is an expensive diversion of time when before cooking was deemed as taxing chores at the home front. Now that it is an art, foods do not just anymore cater to sense of taste but the presentation should likewise be appealing to the sight. That is why garnishing is very important. Table setting creates an ambiance. Lighting does the same while playing some good music on the side that matches the dishes served. And yes, we do not forget to create dishes that look like artworks for sale. We make sure there are blend of colors where the color of the sauce would be contrasted and accentuated with that of the ingredients. An all green food is not palatable at all. There should be a hint of red, a touch of yellow, and some other more to almost resemble it to a rainbow.

But just as we mentioned, each has his or her own art hidden within. One might have not discovered, expressed, or developed it yet but it will come out in due time if he or she is only keen with the basic. Realization of what is your true art is not far-fetched, anyway. Just remind yourself of not just what interests you but what you truly appreciate and you know what art you would fit in. Let it come out of you without inhibition and you might be surprised with your new discovery! It is you in harmony with your true art. And who knows that yours later on will be the most sought artwork for sale!

How to Handle Love Again

What if you do not know how to handle love again? All you know is to admire and be admired. But handling love again must be overwhelming or perhaps be deemed as something strange to deal with. It can be challenging to the new one if there will be. Or is it really going to be your problem or you will just let the other person handle and cope with the challenge like how a non-artist will make a landscape painting for the first time? Anyway, is loving again a challenge? Or just a new phase in life?

On top of doubt of handling love again, another worry is the person might be someone sent or part of the orchestration to inflict pain on you for years given that you were attacked left and right. May God take care of you when you are about to entrust your heart again to someone. May you fall for someone whose least agenda is to see you cry. May he not be part of a group who tried the best they can to inflict pain on you. May God spare you from him, if that is the case. There is no glory of loving someone who sees every wrong in you while empowering all the people around you to damage you to just simply turn you to a cheap craft. With all these thoughts, not to mention of years of not having romantic love at all may really be quite a big challenge on your part, not unless the one whom you are going to be with is God, then perharps, he can handle this with ease. And unto him, you will trust again. The sad truth, however, is that humans are not God which makes it really scary to start loving again. After all, it feels good to be friends with the former someone you are with and who is still constantly with you, not to mention your comfort zone is not in anyway threatened.

And as you think of all these, you perhaps would rather take the advice of many to just simply enjoy single blessedness given that since the time men discovered your charm during your youth, you had not experienced to be single. It was just recently  when you had the chance to choose which Asian art is better in the wall without considering if the other party will like it, too. At first, they wooed you and the moment you allowed someone in your life, it has been you who have been hooked to the person. Maybe that is how a woman really is until such time you slapped yourself of the word “enough”. And hopefully, by the time love begins again, you know how to leave a quarter of your whole to yourself.

Just a lovely thought!

Yes, you know that you are a full-blown adult. And that you have surpassed many challenges and overcame not simple obstacles but major ones in your life. Yet hearing from someone that he will take care of you is making you too feminine, child-like, dependent, clingy, weak. They aren’t good qualities at all, when we come to think of it. But then, these make any woman happy. She feels like the Best of Asian art, in an instant.

Women now are independent. They earn. They work. They are free. This is awesome but it is nice to know that there is someone, too, who thinks of you from afar and would be proud to say that he will take care of you.  You know you aren’t that young anymore to be taken care of. But the thought lingers. Somehow, you just want to lean on and be less strong. It feels like all the while without you knowing it, you are in his heart and somebody has been with you. And when you cry, his spirit fights for you. He is not God, you know that so well that he isn’t it. But by and by, you are becoming too aware that he is God-given sent to you. You see the signs that are not orchestrated or directed. You see signs that no one has control over. You are getting old and you had no idea if you and the other person will end up together or it is just that your souls are connected just like some mystery that life brings to us once in a while. Whatever that means, you just trust the universe, trust the heavens, trust that a greater force than any human being is to work on mysterious ways, all for the betterment of you and of him.
You realize that God loves you so much that He sent someone from far away to love you and take care of you. He is non-believer of your faith but God must have entrusted you to him because he has a god soul. Life is a mystery. But from this, we are close to realization that souls of the universe are connected. Contrary to what is popular that the souls of the dead are connecting to that of the living, souls of live bodies connect to each other without their physical bodies being aware of it. What a glorious thought! How can this be a subject of wall painting? It must not be easy to create one

Just Some Thought to Write

You were preparing for two cups of hot choco for your son and you and when all of a sudden there were thoughts that came to mind which you felt like they needed to be written as how an artist needed to start hiswall paintings right away when inspired.

As you sat down to jot everything, there was a challenge to recall these thoughts because in an instant, they seemed like they faded from your memory with all these Christmas carols in the background. Ahhh, maybe it was the memory of your pieces of jewelry when they were stolen. You did not know why prior to that, you stared at its beauty as if it was the first time you saw them. Same situation just happened recently when you discovered that your last piece was being again taken away from you. You were writing and all of a sudden, you glimpsed at the ring from angle to angle.  There was a premonition, some sort of intuition of what was going to happen. You asked inspiration from God from what these people are doing and then you started reading anything that came across via Google. Your searched landed to Mayan Calendar. As you read through, it says there that the coming years after or prior to end of mayan calendar, intuition will work instead of reason and mental. Spirituality will be heightened. And you know God had been guiding you of what to come with your little pieces as used as sacrifice.  And you thank God how wonderfully you were chosen by Him to guide the people when in fact you are one sassy  girl, and as they say hot and cool, sweet but evil when swagger is shown.

Another thing that came to mind is the memory when you were last harassed and attacked. You opened the Bible and asked for guidance. You weren’t able to memorize the verse but the message was clear. It is to remove the pride from these people and such goal is left in your hands. Come to think of it! When people are making your environment a hell to be entrapped to a place or group where they want you to belong and you resisted not the thought of being with these people but the system as to how they execute their plans, and along the way, they hit you with character attack of being proud, you realize it was not you who is proud at all but them. They want you. They come to you. They talk to you. They propose their plan. They eat their pride. But they could not. It does not matter how much pain you feel as long as you submit to their subtle whims. Then, you are not the one proud. There was a subtle harassment. There was a plot to make your environment a hell, so that you’d be directed somewhere else or to whomever who wants you. That is pride. And God is right.  The heaven knows you how humble you are. The heaven admires your humility yet the proud wanted to turn around situation and God said, take charge! --- You are the best of Asian art. Well, the last part is just an extension of the story which comes from imagination.
