The Best of Asian Art

Truly there are many styles of wall paintings and mostly all are similar to one another. They are brush strokes of paints to come up with different figures, shapes, and expressions. Of whether we speak of art from western countries or somewhere else, wall paintings are becoming more and more as one in style. Put the wall paintings in one collection side by side and less is the chance that one cares for its origin anymore. Not unless…..

And yes, not unless it is the Best of Asian art! No offense to other Asian works which we all know are equally great but it is irrefutable that lacquer painting or the mother or pearl- look becomes the flag bearer of Asian art which does not necessarily mean that the rest are inferior in quality or aesthetics, but it just so happened that lacquer gives a unique look that is truly Asian. Why would a buyer from the west purchase a wall art that is just like what is being sold in the nearby store when his plan is to make his room exotic? Surely, he wants a touch of Asian but he doesn’t want his room to look historical or cultural. He prefers the figure in painting to be casual like a flower in a pot but then again he wants the overall look to be Asian. In this case, flower in a vase lacquer painting is what the art buyer is looking for. Add some touches of mother of pearls around the area and what is offered to the person is the best of Asian art.

Different countries from Asia have different painting styles common to each race. Works are impressive. Their hands are magical when it comes to art. Their expertise in brush strokes along with their creative minds are brilliant but lacquer and with some use of mother of pearl exudes a unique look that stands out from the rest. It projects a certain effect that is of rarity and confined only to Asian works. And this makes the works of Vietnamese artists push the rest behind them. They have the edge, not to mention that they too got the style!

Lacquer- of whether the painting is licked-finished or created and styled in dry brush exude glossy as well as glassy in effect which makes it extremely attractive in aesthetic sense. These are the most sought when it comes to home interior designing. We see these in panels of multiple pieces. They are arranged as one to reveal the whole figure or sometimes, hung with spaces in between to create a look of multiple wall arts. And likewise, these are Asian arts which most of the time revolve around fortune like money tree, horses, and the likes.
