How I love the blues in it! Remove all the frills, make the handles just matte silver or chrome stainless steel, and this becomes modern in an instant but less all those mentioned, this divine kitchen won't look this homey.  It is beautiful! Is that a wall painting over there or a glass mirror?

Kitchen— Our Fine Haven

Kitchen is our favourite area in the house. Kitchen, since time immemorial, is one big studio of artworks for sale for most women. We love big kitchen where we can cook our specialties. But just as cooking is expensive so is a beautiful fine kitchen. The real deal is the kind of kitchen a woman has, most of the time, matches the food she prepares.

Men are great cook. Most of the time, they can cook delicious food in any given place as long as there is stove, pans, and flame and the right ingredients for cooking. But for most women, especially for modern women, cooking requires not just conducive area to cook but a kitchen that pleases the eyes. Pots and pans maybe few but they should be of fine-grade, as well.  Such kitchens suit big houses as if the woman of the house caters for the entire village every given meal. But this is a no-no to small flats where it is just a kitchenette that is provided. Yet, this little Asian art should be as conducive and beautiful as big kitchens where cook enjoys cooking.  After all, food tastes wonderful when it is prepared with love and happiness and when not treated as mere household chores to cook. A gorgeous or cute kitchen gives the same effect to the one preparing the dish. This, with nice kitchenware and dishes will make the food more palatable. Plus, the fact that we are inspired to make special preparation than the usual food we eat in a daily basis when there is beauty all around us just as how fine our kitchen is so is the dish we want to prepare. If we can only put some garnishing of reds, oranges, and greens in a wide plate we will if and only if we will not tap ourselves that it is just us and a toddler who will be dining at home. Otherwise, a bottle of chilled red wine along with steak and greens will be a regular delight.

Dining is leisure just as going to the theatre and strolling to places. And because of the pleasure it gives, it is costly. Therefore, to minimize the cost of fine dining, we need to create a pleasing meal time at home. And one prerequisite of this is an inspiring kitchen of whether it is big to suit a mansion house of just a cute kitchenette present in flats. Oh heaven, kitchen is a beauty—of whether it is European or Asian art!

And this time for October we first dwell on posting nice kitchen finds we got from the net. And because our theme for the month onwards will be country style, then so be it. But first we start with a touch of contemporary design. Classic country style designed kitchen is outmoded but it remains homey. All we need is a modern touch-ups and that is what we have.

Modern Country-Style for October Onwards

Country style interior design may be traditional. But no other design can be so homey than this kind.  Corporate offices and residential interior are well delineated from each other with country style to make our house give us a feel of home-sweet-home! And true, wall paintings are more venerated in such style than laminates, highly glossed wall, or mirrored walls.

Country-style design is old fashion yet we miss the tall plants in the corner, the light blue floral wall framed with white cornices, the woven rocking chair, and the busy design of everything from living area to kitchen. The house is just stuffed. And instead of keeping the small details in the house inside a built-in cabinet, we just want them arranged somewhere— a specific table for this, an open shelf, or even atop our hanging kitchen cabinet where in between these items are pots with plants. It is quite far from what is in today most especially if we dwell within the commercial hub.  In our flats is where minimalism reigns. Our pad will be contemporary as long as we leave the artworks with the interior structure. We make the wall glass—smoked, frozen, or just plain clear. We choose plain shades of mocha, grey, or a bit gloomy shade of white as wall paint or perhaps laminates of designs and patterns are better. After that, we select a few modern furniture. And anything extra we keep them in cabinets, hidden!  This is in. This is fad. This is lifestyle yet we wonder why in times of stress, we want to fly somewhere else and be temporarily cradled by bed with sheets that have ruffles and frills, by room with printed drapes and ribbons to tie them, with walls that are not glass and glossy but wood in white and where small stuffs are arranged in display—even groceries too are treated like artworks for sale!  We know that kind of style is where our generation grows up and such ambiance feels like being equated to fresh milk, fresh air, and edible greens, and palatable cooking.

There is too much beauty in traditional interior design.  It makes a home to look like home.  It is place which food is not just a phone away but we see our folks in apron busy preparing food for us. And truly, it is also a place where cooking seems a catering in a daily basis and where breathing of air does not entail inhaling pollutants. And this feeling is what exactly country-style interior designing gives us.

So from October onwards, it is all about country style design that we will be posting on here. But not far from what is in today, we will deviate from truly conventional to country style with modern touch-ups. After all, we can't live backwards.

Wallpaper for September!

Walls are not just made alive by wall paintings, murals, or paint. Wallpaper plays a major role in the overall interior of the house. It comes with design that we are left with option if we will leave it as it is or perhaps still adorn the wall with fine arts.

September will be a moth of wallpaper. It comes with different textures, design, materials, and surely of varying cost. The new ones may be costly but the quality is worth every dime.  we can save from paints yet we need to adorn our wall with fine arts. Although we can settle for cheap decors, it would still be better to make our wall bare than looking cheap. It is much better to wait for the right budget for such wonderful paper our simple abode truly deserves.

Expression in Asian Art

Does religion quite curtail the expression of Asian art? Asia is jam packed with faithful people from different sectors of religions. One country may be a mixture of religions from Christianity to Buddhism yet we know that there is one that dominates each nation. And yes, from this prevailing faith lies the ideology that shaped the culture, tradition, and political history of one’s race.

Wall painting, more than being an ornate to a place is an expression of thoughts and feelings combined. Imagination puts knowledge in the backseat. It can run wild. It is a place in our mind that seems infinite and vast ‘till creativity operates to fill the vastness with visions and powerful emotions. Filling this vastness however is curtailed with factors such as values, inhibition, and moral consideration for others. Given these, in a society where norms and values prevail, with traditions that need to be followed, with culture that asked for warm embrace, expression of art is in no doubt curtailed. Thus, Asian art is expected to blend with all these factors and not these factors submitting or giving in to Asian art.

Religion, no matter what sect, needs to be respected not unless we speak of cults that eat human flesh or kill people as offerings to God. We speak here of religions that talk about philosophy of making the people succumb to good. This message may come in different versions or translations like how one statement of good deed is written in religious books of Christians, Buddhists, Islam, and some other more. However, making a wall painting out of these may not always suggest approval on their teachings and the religious icons that represent them. It is art anyway. It is the artist’s view on his subject. And as audience of these arts, we can tell what is too much and what is just right without tracing law from the constitution that guides the creation or expression of art.

Wall Paintings in a very conservative country can be sexual, violent, or anything pertaining to imperfection and frailty of human beings but targeting the religious icons which people worship, and which people deem as refuge to their tribulations is in no way a sign of moral consideration. It is hitting on icon which people believe as sacred. We are not in a way triggering arguments on religious terms like paganism or blasphemy but just simply moral consideration that has guided and founded the values of the constituents of a nation.

Religious icons are in human form.  Be it a sculpture or a wall painting, portrayed is a human being. Painting this form as disfigured in a very questionable way is unacceptable. We, humans, know what is insulting and mockery without consulting the constitution.

Artist on the online world of art

Artworks for sale online is irrefutably numerous. If a buyer does not know how to specify search or self-assess what he or she needs, then chances are that the person would retreat to buy art online and just rather drop by to one of the local stores nearby after getting dizzy from hopping from one internet gallery to another.

Putting an artwork for sale online is hope against hope that such art will be noticed. Indeed, internet is a way to get something noticed but amid competition, many artists just sulked in to frustration until such time they realize that there is a perfect buyer for their art waiting at the backseat. As we say, art can be aesthetics and at the same time an expression. And just like music, there is a perfect song for every person depending as to how this song touches her at a particular time.  A song that was never a favourite can touch the heart of a person whose current situation, thoughts, and feelings overall are perfectly described by the song. This goes the same for art. Art speaks and the artist needs to do is to just wait for the listener. There is one person in the world whose style and colours, and anything in composition of the wall painting will make or break someone’s heart. That one person whom the artist attracts like a magnet will be his or her recurring art buyer.

Yes, at least one in the world will fall on his knees for your art.  And there are extra blessings if this one person multiplies as your art lovers. Nothing beats word- of- mouth advertising. This is classic, traditional, and most of all tried and tested when it comes to disseminating information that would promote your artworks for sale. Expect among billions of people, that one buyer who fell in love with your artwork for sale, chances are, will make your name grow in the art market. Patience is not the key to succeed in the field of art but it is a matter of trust and faith to oneself that matters. Believe in your talent and you’ll see a believer in you coming in to your life until such time that you realize that you have already established a group of fans.

It is true that internet now has been propagated by artworks for sale from different parts of the globe and many artists struggle to make his first sale but it is not about making money in one snap that will make their works popular online but their name needs to reverberate too in the art world. As to how, this will happen? Just ignore the thought and stay passionate with art!

Affordable Oil Painting

Yes, there is acrylic. But what can underestimate original oil paintings when Mona Lisa and the rest of renowned classic paintings centuries back are all in oil! The ones that are heralded in famous museums are of the same kind. As for medieval artists back in a century where knowledge and creativity propagated and well respected, there was no other kind but oil painting.

However, wall paintings are not meant to be confined in museums alone. How about our walls at home which constantly crave for their beauty? And what about the big time businesses which would like these oils to attract good fortune for their offices? No worries. Affordable art is just around the corner.  Billionaires need not think of shedding out a zillion just to have original oil paintings from renaissance period safe in their possession. Many artworks that are for sale are of oils in canvas. Most of them are at par with that of Da Vinci’s and can even look better in contemporary style. Why spend a zillion when a few hundreds will do? Aside from getting quality, art is not expensive now as it was before. In fact anyone who wants to join a business art cycle of art rental can start with one piece which will not even hurt the pocket of the investor.

The glitter of original oil paintings touches the hearts of art lovers most especially from the aesthetic angle of arts. Women like anything that glitters like diamonds and accessories that shimmer from afar. Instead of matte, many would choose for gloss. Compare with cars, as well. Cars with glossy body are much more attractive than those that are not. And the same aesthetic preference goes to all including wall paintings.  It is then good news for all that such a piece called investment is also a piece that is beautiful and can now even be deemed as affordable art.  Walls are not really fine without fine arts. But walls cannot be fine if budget will not allow it to look fine. Yet, many have not discovered that the finest like original oil painting is now an affordable art. Check out for artworks for sale that are posted in the internet. You have a global theme in a more reduced price from the average price of wall paintings years ago which means all have equal opportunity to get a beautiful piece of investment for a price that is even below what is reasonable.

Original wall paintings will glitter in the wall but it would be great too if you wallet will not lose its gloss from an empty interior. Take advantage of affordable art. More it becomes cost-saving if purchased wholesale.

Asian Art and its Expression

Asian countries as we know are bounded to rich culture-- a culture that is shaped by faith and religion. Since time immemorial, each of these religions had influenced the society and we thank them for filling our minds with wisdom and for being a refuge and comfort in times of distress.

Of whether this is psychological or divine, so far religion does not teach anyone of wrong doing. In fact, they helped. People of whether they are believers of a certain religion or no religion at all sin and religion has nothing to do with it. It is the frailty of being human that breaks us and not a religious icon which too is a work of art. Artworks for sale that we see around us can be very suggestive. Why not? Artworks are meant to tickle the senses, to evoke emotion of bliss and sadness, to inspire, and to provoke critical thinking. However, if it is intentionally created to hit or mock someone or something, then it is not an art anymore but a medium to hurt.

'Say speech, poetry is an art. But our everyday language which is the most expressive of all is not an art. We talk to people over issue or what we want, our views, even the most hateful thing that we feel. In fact, if we compare our daily use of speech to thousands of artworks for sale and discern which one is real expression, then the former will sell big time but it is not art at all which only means not all expressions are art. If a person uses art to inflict pain then they misunderstood what art is. It may be an expression but not art at all. And mostly, it will never be Asian art which is known to have boundaries as to how it is being perceived by fellow constituents living under one roof.

It is very seldom that you find Asian art to be provoking. Many will be mentally provoking which will make you think over a situation but very few will alarm an institution or a society, as a whole. There is no clear demarcation line, in fact, as to what extent an art can use as an expression but as individuals, we know what is not proper. Not in a chance you can use art as your escape goat to mock someone you hate because such art like music will be patronized by people. Just imagine the world will enjoy singing a song which you intend to write to hit a person you hate! And you are proud because it is art. You know for yourself your real intention and what you created is never an art. And most all, it will never be Asian art!

When is expression unjust?

To what extent Asian art can express inner thoughts, belief, and opinions? Images speak so aloud that the viewer can discern what the story behind is all about. Putting a thing to what people can see is actualization of a vision which most of the time is simply brought by imagination or creativity. Say what you must. Write what you must. Choose your medium.

Recently, local art scene in the Philippines was bombarded by two conflicting opinions. From the judgment of many Filipinos founded by the strong influence of culture, tradition, and the dominant influence of Roman Catholicism in the society vis-a- vis national artists who see no issues at all over the most talked artworks publicly displayed. The fight over a controversial art exhibit is triggered by a fight between good and evil. Which delineates evil from good has not anything to do with religion. Our sense of morality and the human judgment to what is good is not always itemized as commandments or laws. Yes, we differ in beliefs. Yet, we know what will hurt other people. Then, say what you must. Write what you must. Choose your medium-- be it wall painting or poetry. Just try not get anyone hurt. Hurting is intentional. We humans know when to hurt others because we know when they hurt us, too. This goes the same as to when we can't inflict pain because chances are pain avenges pain, not unless the retaliation is based on something that is not founded by good judgment.

Creating a distorted or disfigured image of a religious icon for public display is unjustifiable if we speak of moral grounds, or better yet if we speak of consideration to human feelings. We might be against belief on worshipping religious icons. But if one comes to think of it, the ones who desire them damaged are the people who believe more that such icons can make or break them. Religious icons can be made of wood, clay, or just simply painted as an altar piece. Such too are work of art. They did not hit anyone. Not in a chance that one of them extended their arms to poke someone who bowed before them. Simply put, these icons did not inflict pain to anyone in the world. The people who bowed before them sin just like everybody else. They were hit by a society and treated just like how a usual criminal was treated. But what about the rest whose minds and hearts are pure seeking refuge to these icons as the ones to comfort them? They were in pain because the one they love was disrespected, not to mention that the one they love is innocent. Then, what makes it deserve such mockery and insult!

Many people do not believe in ghost. The thought of ghost terrifying an individual is fun to many. Those who didn't believe will in no way be scared that a soul of a dead body comes back to haunt us. The moment they felt terrified over the thought and later on got affected  only insinuates that they too believe but perhaps, just in denial which somehow makes us conclude that the people behind the controversial art are not non-believers but subconsciously were hurting and no one is somewhere around willing to assume the blame. A speech can be damaging. Your words are okay a second ago and in an instant can change to curses due to pain within that won't go. Give or take a minute and you asked the heavens what prompted you to say it. Yes, words when unmasked or uncensored are triggered by emotion. But  an artwork as that of fine arts or other visual arts like wall painting which take a month or more to come up with a theme, design, style, and overall presentation is not in, anyway, triggered by a compulsive emotion but well-framed thoughts which means the people behind such controversial Asian art is in their right frame of minds.

Then we ask when expression unjust? If arts reflect your longing, your pain, or a distraction of yourself, then so be it but if it is damaging to other people, there is a need then to think twice.

ART rENTAL

Art like wall painting is a tried and tested investment to bring in real money after keeping the piece for years. It can stay on the wall for years as long as there is a wall to set in and if there is none, to attic it may go. Aside from being decorative in the home front, an art owner looks at the art piece as an alternative to gold for cash out in the years to come. Thanks to art rental then, years of waiting is shortened to days or to a few months.

The long wait to turn an artwork to a profitable investment discourages an investor to put his money to wall paintings. As opposed to gold which appraisal can be faster, wall paintings need to be antique for them to gain a higher value over time as well as in the end of their creators who need to make a name first in the industry to boost the appraisal of their creations. In this case, incontestably art rental opens a new hope for artists and their investors. Long wait is gone. Invest on art today and count a few more days, earn from it. Investors as well as artist themselves benefit from such art program. The idea revolves around a broker carrying a painting to sell, price marked-up from the original artists price. He sells it and gets a percentage and will even go an extra mile to find a business to rent the piece. With this he takes home his small cut again.

Art rental is a win-win for all. Get a piece of gold at this hour and surely, when you want it re-sold the next day, you will not only lose the profit but chances are from the capital, as well, not unless years of waiting will be endured to resell the piece in a more appraised value. And as for the artists, such program of art rental gives them hope to count more buyers coming in to patronize the industry than before. Their market widens. They target those that are in the business of art rental programs to carry their creations. They eye for direct buyers who are investing on art that will soon be rented-out to companies or corporations. And they expose themselves to these businesses more directly for straight transactions.

Businesses on the other hand could not agree more that art rental give them all the benefit of having corporate art without damaging the financial audit. They pay for a fragment of the price and discard the art like it never even existed before if it no longer serves a purpose. Overall, with art rental, everybody on the loop of art business is happy!

Corporate Art for Work

Businesses are equated to money. There is money gained and money invested. The work office is where money dwells of whether the financial status is a credit or a deficit. Either or, the entrepreneur cannot dress-up his supposed to be fortune-abode with drapes, ruffles, and ribbons not unless the aforementioned are what the business operates. It needs to be a corporate art like wall paintings, in the strictest sense of the word.

What is a corporate art? Let us define it as an aesthetic expression and representation of the nature of the business in an art form. Without this, the work ambiance is dull, uninspiring, and will give an impression that the work place is all about getting money sacrificing beauty and feelings. The work arena of whether it is at home, a nook somewhere or a glass tower should give a vibe of positive and healthy working atmosphere. It needs to be motivational. However, as opposed to other belief that corporate art needs to directly represent the nature of the business is not applicable at all times. Yes, there are pop arts that could exactly say what the business markets or in a more frank term, sells. A food chain corporation can display wall painting of food that will make the visiting clients starve or that will give a potential investor a subliminal effect of craving for food realizing in return the potential success of the business but most of the time, corporate art is all about interior design!
For a work-from-home mom, she has to make sure first that the ambiance of her house will be conducive to work. She may not put an expensive wall painting in front of her or place a giant bronze statue in her lawn but she will make sure that wherever angle she throws her glance is well-kept and pleasing to her eyes. Otherwise, her work is a mess or if not, she may still deliver an excellent work yet within her is a dissatisfied lonely worker which goes the same with those who land a job outside staying at a place not conducive enough to work.

Corporate interior cannot just be wall-sized blinds and a dull-color floor carpet. There has to be something that will catch the workers,as well as the visiting customer's eyes. And just like any interior designing at home which needs to fit in to the lifestyle, then so is corporate art. The business which nature of market revolves around modern young ones need an interior designing of more hip colors and designs. Mona Lisa, no matter how elegant and expensive will not work but surely will be an eye-stopper to museums or major financial institutions. It is all about the overall look of the place seen in the first glance.

Just Renting Art

Why do small businesses or other big corporations opt for art rental than just buying the artwork outright? Thousands of dollars are spent for wall paintings to be set in the domestic front. Then how come companies who spend big bucks for office furniture would just rent an art piece than just keeping it for good?

No one can dispute the positive vibes that corporate art exudes up to the executive level down to their base of clientele. Companies of whether corporations, partnership or sole proprietorship know that artwork will put credibility to their business, most especially if the workplace is being visited by the customers.  Corporate art among other advantages give the impression that the company is “can afford” to bring the profit back to people. Otherwise, such business will be tagged as small attracting small investors and cheap customers.

The aesthetics or the overall appearance of the company office says so much about its fund to run the business. This is very important secondarily to the customers but primarily to the group of investors.  However most of the time, it is not easy to justify the millions of dollars spent for the corporate art, most especially when investors start to audit. And because investors fund whatever the company needs, every single cent spent or every dime that needs to be cashed out require justification.  It is very challenging to create a valid reason as to why the business needs millions and dollars for a wall painting or for an artwork that will serve as the company logo. Here is where art rental solves the issue.

As much as the business wants to convince the investors that a wall painting or a sculpture from a renowned artist is a good investment, and that soon it will be sold for the nth times higher than the original price, it is not an outstanding professional reason no matter how this can be thought several times.  This can be logical to discuss the art purchase ROI only if this is the company’s business. Otherwise, when ROI is dealt during the meeting or conference with the investors, expected to be discussed is the ROI from what the company is running.

With the aforementioned discussion in mind, art rental becomes the wisest decision for businesses to display corporate art. Company pays a fragment in a month from the actual selling price of the art piece. Once it doesn’t serve the purpose anymore of entertainment, beautification, and expression, it is discarded and handed over back to the art dealer or the artist/owner himself.

Corporate Art for B2B

Corporate art is a good investment and if we speak of business, corporations or big time company will not spend on aesthetics if those that beautify will mean luxury alone. Businesses will buy the idea of aesthetics if it will only insinuate ROI or will entice more customers to come which would mean more money to expect.

Art gives good vibes to business. Instead of spreading feng shui all around the area, some would opt for artistic creations like high-grade wall painting and sculpture to give light to the mission and vision of a particular institution or establishment. Most of the arts that surround the vicinity, in fact, represent what the company stands for. It is the real meaning of art behind its physical appearance. It is called expression. And when we speak of aesthetics, it is art that makes clients or customers stop for a while to think, to make decision, to relieve stress if something in the business does not work for them somehow. Corporate art must be a head turner to lure people to come by and visit. It had to be a show stopper if bad things are at peak in the business. To sum it up, corporate art makes a lot of things for the company.

In lieu with all that are mentioned above, many agencies carry corporate art. They do B2B or to elaborate, they deal with business to business. It is their field to carry corporate arts that can be supplied to different businesses which will serve as their base of clientele. Expect to include real entrepreneurs in the team as well as group of art experts like interior designers, architects, or fine artists because businesses in all fields need to be backed up with good customer service which can do the work hands on. Artworks they carry must have been originated from the art creators themselves but their installation as part of the office set-up or company interior design is handled by the business per se.

With this mind, people with formal education on art or if not those who have innate talent on art are crucial to the team doing B2B for corporate art. People who have a unique and outstanding eye for beauty are the important people in this kind of business. They serve as consultants as well and the designer themselves. Corporate art is best entrusted to people who in just one glance know exactly what suits the space best and in just a moment of perusal through the corporate business pamphlet know exactly what art to excellently represent the company.

No big company will deny anything that can make their business grow. Aside from the health benefit of the art to the company, if time came that these collections do not anymore serve a purpose, then they can be sold for more than its original price. It is business, anyway!

Asian art is rich country’s good finds

Asians take pride of anything they possess which originated from the west or from Europe.  This happens despite Asian art prevails in the market. Psychologically, anything associated from the first world is deemed to stand out. The logic behind is that even their aesthetic value is associated with the currency exchange rate.

The higher the value of a respective currency, all the more that Asians herald whatever is acquiesced that has such currency value of whether the items are on sale or just give- away. What accompanies these items is a status symbol.  Not all are exposed to the products of more fortunate countries so we speak here of rarity or exclusivity. Plus, only few can afford or have the means or better yet have a better opportunity to possess these foreign goods. ‘Say wall paintings, artworks created by Asian artists are one of a kind and simply brilliant. But for Asians, who wouldn’t want a French or Italian painting in their home wall instead of an art piece magnificently painted by a neighbour! Even the price shoots up it can be sold in local currency unlike the former that we strictly speak of “dollars”.

What is mentioned is the opposite why western countries patronize anything that is Asian. Yes, it is already given that Asian is more cultural as compared to United States, for example.  They do not have much as what Asians have when it comes to tradition, culture, and religions.  And If they do have, expect that diversity is way too less.

Anyway, if there is a common logic behind purchase between Asians and others, it is rarity. Conservatively, to secure wall paintings coming from Asia requires long travel. There is a challenge of securing them plus it goes with their planned vacation in Asia which expenditure expected is less than going somewhere else.

Other than that, aside from experiencing rich culture with Asian art wall paintings, Foreigners most especially from the first world would opt for cheaper finds. Asian art is not cheap in quality and sold relatively in a high price in the country where it originates but speaking of currency conversion rate,  dollars still find Asian art cost saving.

Take into consideration the logic between the two and you’ll come up with the answer why there are countries doomed to poverty while there is a few that continuously climbs up to prosperity. The latter obviously is after quality and cost saving while the former goes for status symbol.  Rich countries constantly look for good finds which attributes include quality, durability and rarity rolled in to one but with a price that is for them below reasonable. With all these, good finds for them are Asian art!

Corporate Art

Many artists earn big bucks if their style is well-acclaimed to suit corporate art. Who wouldn’t get bewitched with more than life-sized wall painting to hang amid the interior of a glass tower! An artist can be so good if big or well-renowned companies seek his service as sole or as one of the corporate artists. And you can bet that big bucks follow him.

Of whether the artworks are up for sale or for art rental, art pieces belonging to corporate art can be relatively pricey compared to others. It is a big break for an artist when a company notices his works and soon be considered to be in display in its huge walls. It can start with a piece or two until such time that the artist’s name become identifiable to a particular company or corporation. There are times that artists such as this can be contracted as exclusive suppliers of art pieces for an agency or institution while many would still prefer to go freelance where they make themselves open to different offers from different establishments.

What can a wall painting do to a corporate interior? If a wall painting can give an ordinary house a touch of elegance, then how much more it does to a corporate setting! Money spent on company’s aesthetics is a number of times greater than that of spent on a mansion house. It is like comparing the value of a lot for commercial purposes viz-a-viz the residential ones. We speak here of double, triple, or safer to say multiple rate.

Can you just imagine an office ambiance which usually is filled with executive chairs, neutral coloured wooden table, matched with grayish shaded carpet and huge white to cream window blinds? Close your eyes. Envision. And tell us what you see but a dull space. As much as you would like to put elaborative rich drapes on the windows which will also make up most of the walls, they just won’t fit because there is a clear demarcation line between commercial and residential aesthetics. And this is exactly where corporate art comes to front. It gives colors and expression to what seems a boring ambiance.

And of course, any wall art can do the trick. But who wants a low grade wall art in businesses run by millions to billions of dollars, anyway? An office furniture alone cost the investors an arm and leg just to make the ambiance conducive to workers. A corporate executive needs to sit in a not just ordinary office chair when he starts thinking and working in his desk. Thousands are spent for his thinking authoritative chair alone. This gives him the feeling of power to make fruitful decisions. If so, these thousands need to be backed up by a very sophisticated wall art. Otherwise, it will drag down the rest to cheapness.

And yes, when it comes to class and value, will anything beat a corporate art aka a wall painting?
