Artists should be well-appreciated while they are alive. They deserve genuine and sincere compliment. Not all people can paint. Not all have the gifted hands to actualize their thoughts. Not all human beings have such imaginative minds to escape the cruelty of life in the comforts of their homes. Then why wait for them to travel to heaven or space before getting recognized?

Most of the artists like painters get recognition after death. Maybe part of eulogy is to mention all the good qualities of the person who is dead and part of remembering his life on earth is to treasure his artworks along with his photos until such time that people who are not just connected to the artist but those who are connected to his loved ones do the same. To come up with one art piece, the artist needs one hell or heaven of experience that will serve as an inspiration.

Aside from skill to do the piece, it takes much outpour of emotion for an artist from the beginning of his work till finish. They are the ones more than anyone else who work from emotion which makes other factors like skills and knowledge secondary when we speak of importance.

Artists most especially painters should be given a lot of opportunities for exposure. People should be encouraged to give these art pieces a second look. For now, it is only the minority who received proper education who are appreciative of art. Online exposure of these arts and artists will definitely give them a break. This is because internet is widely used not by minority but all people from all walks of life.
