Our Home Wall

Moms love wall arts. A house seems so bare with empty walls most especially during those times that giving our wall a splash of color seemed unusual. Yes, we remember typical houses of cream or white painted wall. And this would not give the house a homey look without wall decors. Some could be painting while others were picture frame.

Good thing today that interior design is now welcoming different blends of color palettes at home. When before color palettes only applied to furniture and home accessories, nowadays, those are just used to accent or contrast the main color of the room which can be identified by looking at its wall. Wall color can now be anything from turquoise to bright colors like orange and yellow. In fact because of its striking or catchy color, a room can still look very attractive and stylish without wall art. Other accessories like throw pillows or candle holders serve as essential decors already, ‘say a rich cream sofa with different shades of orange throw pillows and a tall bronze candle holders all set against a yellow wall is enough to look stylish and surely pleasing to the eye. But those who want a busy look in one corner can put a vertical abstract wall painting with touch of orange set above a tall bronze corner table with red-orange candles and average- sized gold balls set atop. This will look very busy and colorful yet extremely fashionable.

Choices of wall color usually reflect the personality of the woman in the house. She might not go beyond what is known as typical like neutral colors. This best suits a classic mom, elegant and sophisticated but possesses an inhibition to deviate a bit from the norm.
